Zoom Tooth Whitening
Teeth can gradually darken and discolor over time. Often this is the result of stains from pigmented foods, drinks like coffee or tea, or tobacco products that have absorbed into the enamel of the teeth.
Products like whitening toothpastes and rinses can be useful for removing surface stains, but usually a professional whitening procedure is required to remove the deeper stains and truly change the shade of the teeth.
At our office, we use the ZOOM in-office whitening system. In a single office visit that takes about 90 minutes, you can go home with a whiter, brighter smile without any messy trays, gels, or pastes that can take a week or more to get results.
There are some conditions such as fluorosis, tetracyline staining, and traumatically injured teeth that may not whiten effectively. Also fillings, crowns, and veneers will not change shade with whitening procedures. We would be happy to set up a consultation to see if you are a candidate for ZOOM tooth whitening and to discuss other cosmetic options.
